This would at first appear to be a day aboard Comorro like any other. The ships are in the docking hub, and people are moving in and out of the tradeport. Goods are being moved and ships loaded with freight.

Slowly a fog rolls in, covering the deck to about ankle deep.

Comorro Station isn't exactly a station. It doesn't remain in any one place for a significant span of time. It is, in all accuracy, a massive starship - incapable of atmospheric flight - that has been roaming the stars on a voyage that some say has lasted for more than 90-million years.

So, I’m offering a 500 RPP bounty (and the blogger badge) for all players who create a WordPress.com blog for at least one of their OS characters. The blogger badge can be claimed immediately, but the bounty won’t be granted until after you’ve used the blog actively for a month to share character anecdotes (or, in the alternative, game theory and such if you note it’s an OOC post). Extra RPP will be given to those who link their blogs to the Plattitudes blog at http://plattitudes.wordpress.com (and I will set up a blogroll to point to your character blogs too).

Similar to the RPP Paycheck system, Saga Point Paychecks will work on a monthly basis and pay out to players based on their "level" if they've been active during the past 30 days.

* Bit Player: 100 Saga Points per month
* Character Actor: 250 Saga Points per month
* Ensemble Player: 500 Saga Points per month
* Central Player: 750 Saga Points per month
* Leading Performer: 1,000 Saga Points per month
* Veteran Performer: 1,500 Saga Points per month
* Superstar Emeritus: 2,000 Saga Points per month

Relax! We're not going to be grinding quests to kill 10 rats to reach Level 999. However, we are introducing the concept of levels for purposes of awarding Saga Point Paychecks, which I'll go into in the next post. For this one, I'll share the ranks that players can achieve and the criteria upon which those ranks are based:

* Bit Player: Created within the past week, doesn't have more than a couple of badges, no RP belts, fewer than 25 JTS Faction Points.
* Character Actor: Created within the past month, has several badges, at least a Green Belt, more than 25 JTS Faction Points.

New players who join OtherSpace during the month of February are eligible to receive a Cupid's Arrow 2010 action card, which grants +2 to refereed rolls using Charisma-based skills.

Built within a blue-crimson trunk that bisects two cavernous respiration chambers within what amounts to the Yaralu's "chest," the Comorrite Hub is home to numerous bony nodes that serve as residential modules for the station's inhabitants. Many of them exhale carbon dioxide and other chemicals that the Yaralu can filter and recycle for its own respiratory system.
