The new OtherSpace Achievement System (introduced in January 2012) features badges that fall under seven categories:

• Joining: Getting started on the MUSH. These achievements are generally limited to specific characters, although Wiki accounts, website accounts, and forum accounts may count for all characters belonging to a single player.
• Participating: Longevity, taking part in events, earning RP belts, making money, gathering Saga Points, and getting involved in our forums. These achievements are generally limited to specific characters.
• Exploring: Getting around the grid, spreading your RP action to various worlds. These achievements are limited to the specific character who does the exploring.
• Teaching: Creating guides and holding instructional seminars for OtherSpace players. These achievements generally count for all characters belonging to the player who does the teaching.
• Publicizing: Helping get the word out about OtherSpace. These achievements generally count for all characters belonging to the player who does the publicizing.
• Contributing: Supporting the MUSH through one-time and sustained sponsorships. These achievements count for all characters belonging to the sponsoring player.
• Meta: Special achievements that honor excellence in the other six categories. These achievements are based on the accomplishments of specific characters.

Each achievement comes with the reward of Saga Points payable to your character once a month. The more achievements you score, the more SP you rake in with each cycle.

We're also going to track and publicize the top 10 achievement point leaders each week. The top three each week will receive special rewards: Saga Points, payout vouchers, action cards, special crafting schematics, and more!

To see the badges you've earned, type +sheet/badges. Want to check out the badges of other players? Just type +sheet/badges (name).
