Docking Hub - Comorro Station - <Comorro Station> ~~ Comorro Station isn't exactly a station. It doesn't remain in any one place for a significant span of time. It is, in all accuracy, a massive starship - incapable of atmospheric flight - that has been roaming the stars on a voyage that some say has lasted for more than 90-million years.

The vessel is a Yaralu, a sentient spacefaring vessel. Her true full name cannot be spoken in a single day, but is shortened for convenience to Comorro. Several epochs ago, after her final era of fertility ended, she converted the gray-green ribbed chamber of her womb into a docking hub for smaller Yaralu and non-organic vessels. She made it known to the denizens of Hiverspace that she would serve as a neutral outpost for traders and diplomats.

Use of energy and projectile weapons is prohibited aboard Comorro. Violators will be absorbed into the vessel's nutrient replenishment matrix. She is capable of monitoring almost all chambers within the station for illegal weapons, but some areas - such as the Forgotten Quarter - are lost to her neural pathways and sensory organs. ~~

Moderately quite hours at Comorrow, lunch being eaten or just done or about to, even if some are still working. Franceza is only just signing off, dusting gloves hard against her thigh, then stuffing them in a back pocket. "'Nother day tonight," she nods to the rest of the crew, the ones not done that is, then tired takes herself to a nearby bench, taking a few moments to just sit and watch the area before she'll retire for a well needed shower.

Vessa Harden steps out of the Selene and pats the hull lovingly before shutting the hatch and looking around. It doesn't really take long to find Fran in the quiet Docking Hub and she strides over and plunks herself down next to the woman. "Heya, wuzzup?" she asks in a casual sort of way.

Mmm, Vessa might reconsider that plunking down when she smells the results of that hard day's work, the spacer sweaty and nowhere in reach of some grade A deodorant. "Hey you," Fran smiles cleanly though, "All done for the day. You?"

Vessa Harden doesn't seem to notice the sweaty smell, she got to hunker down with stinky men for weeks at a time, her nose is more than sufficiently impervious and so she just grins cheerfully, "Met with the Boss and can't train right now so I am free as a bird with far too much time on my hands. Want to kill a few hours?"

Franceza glances sideways, pursing lips, in the end tilting her chin, "Boss..."

Vessa Harden blinks in surprise then nods, "Yup, I am with REM as an auxiliary, my main job is with the Devil May Care as security. The Boss would be Katrin, mostly cause she found me first or I likely would have been full time with the mercs." she looks considering, "After that conversation I might have a reorder of responsibilities soon though." she murmurs then looks back over to Fran, "I thought I told you that for some reason." Vessa and Fran are on a bench chatting

Franceza ahs softly, tiredly rubbing the back of her neck, "Maybe you already said hon, very likely, but my memory sucks, that's about it. "But yeah, I have a few hours. Why, have something in mind?"

Vessa Harden gives a one-armed shrug, "Ah not much of one, just enjoy good company and maybe find some good coffee besides. That always seems a good way to enjoy free time. As for a sucky memory, I have been known to suffer that myself on occasion." A stinky Fran and an impervious Vessa are sitting on a bench chatting, Xan has not popped in yet.

A shuttle lands and out strides Raisa. She looks about hesitantly before steeling herself and starting across the docking area.

Xanya gets off a shuttle working on her PDA.

"More coffee?" Says the spacer who'd really like a simple shower first. She rises, is about to say something else, but spies Raisa crossing the dock, her face lighting up, "Girl!"

Vessa Harden looks up as well when Fran shouts and smiles as she spies Raisa, giving her a wave. She sees Xanya not long after that and waves to her as well, "What do ya mean more coffee? It is a wonderful wonderful drink deserving of praise and eternal enjoyment." she says in the tone of the truly devout and chuckles.

Vessa Harden stands as well

Raisa looks up at the call, smiling to Franceza. "Took forever, but here I am," she says to the spacer. "Sorry it took so long..." She shakes her head and looks around, expression darkening.

Franceza doesn't give Raisa time to be gloomy, or so a cargo hauler can hope right, wrapping the woman in what can only be a bear hug. "Was worried crazy over you!" Coffee and even shower are quite forgotten for the moment.

Vessa Harden follows Fran over but, through a great force of will undoubtedly, does not bear hug Raisa. Instead she simply says, "Hey."

Xanya notices someone waving at her and looks up. She then notices Vessa and waves back to her. Then she walks over to them.

"Ack," Raisa squeaks out as she's bear hugged. "Fran. Can't. Breathe." Her eyes widen a bit and she's straining a lot of muscles to avoid clocking the other woman in the head. "Rumpling me."

"Oh!" Not something she had to worry about before, like ever. Franceza's pretty sure of that, but cargo does as cargo hauls and yeah, muscles. Just as quickly she releases Raisa, smoothing down any clothing she messed up. "Shit. You alright?"

Vessa Harden nods to Xan as she comes over and watches to make sure that Raisa doesn't pass out from lack of air. "Now that is what I call a greeting." she murmurs with a grin.

As Xanya approaches she smiles seeing the hugs being given. "Hi girls how are you doing?"

A couple deep breaths are taken before Raisa assists in smoothing out her clothing. "I'm fine, I'm fine. Not made of glass. You've seen me punch someone before. Should know better than that." A half smile appears. "Wanted to stop by and catch up. Have time for a chat?"

"Yeah I do!" Franceza grins wide, then brushes off her own shoulders, widening hands after, "And it's me, what, I ain't hug worthy?" She glances about for someone to back her up and is reminded of Vessa, "Oh, wait, Vessa, Raisa..." Xanya's dubbed as, "Someone. I'm sensing girl fest."

Vessa Harden grins widely at Fran, "Oh you are very hug worthy, though I am sadly lacking the second arm to make it worth it. Girl fest sounds fine to me. Long time no see Raisa." she finishes with a cautious smile and a nod.

Xanya looks questiongly at Franceza. "A girl Fest? Are you sure that..." She pauses a moment and then shakes her head. "Never mind that, If you like me along for a girl fest then I'll join. I got to warn you though. it would be my first... so go gentle on me." She says with a wink.

Raisa's face is a tad pale. Well, paler than usual. "Kinda need to talk to you in private," she murmurs. Vessa just gets a distracted nod, "Know her already. Punched her in the face a while ago." A delicate cough. "Sorry about that." Xanya gets a curious look but no words.

"Oh." Talk about a mouth full of teeth and nothing to stutter. "I eh..." A rather embarrassed glance to Vessa and Xanya, "You guys mind?" Specially Vessa since she was on the receiving end of a punch from Raisa. Never a good thing. Eyes stray to the sling, "Punch to the face, mmh."

Vessa Harden coughs and looks at Xanya with wide eyes before shaking her head then looks at Raisa, "Hey, it was a spar, it happens." she says with a grin and a shrug then looks at Fran and shakes her head, "Go ahead, you two have a chat. I am happy enough to hang round here and if you two have time after it would be nice to hang."

Xanya looks around and feels a bit awkward. "is there something I said?"

Raisa just dips her head. "I didn't punch her when she was hurt, Fran. I'm not /that/ bitchy," she grumbles and starts off toward the Tradeport.

Franceza follows after Raisa, grinning an apology to Xanya, "Nah, really not, just amazingly sucky timing on my part." To Vessa she promises, "I'll find you later." Then she hurries after the Lunite, ending up walking side by side, "Didn't think you were hon, never mind. Whattup."

Vessa Harden gives a wave to the two nods at Fran's parting words before turning to Xanya and laughs shaking her head, "I was just timing. As for what you said I think there was just far too much innuendo in that statement to ignore." she says with a small laugh, "Good gracious."

Xanya Looks a bit more questiongly. "To much innuendo? what do you mean by that?"

Vessa Harden blinks, "Innuendo means that it can be taken in a sexual manner. Ah, nevermind." she coughs slightly and blushes, "Not important, so how ya been?" She and Xanya are standing and chatting in a relatively quiet Docking Hub Raisa and Fran just left it. They are not far from the ships.

Xanya Starts to blush. "it could realy be heared as something sexual?" pauzes a moment. "oepsy. sorry about that. didn't think it about it that way."

Maina slips out of Vessa's ship, somehow, and steps up behind her for a hug-from-behind, "What's this about sexual innuendo?"

Vessa Harden leans into the hug-from-behind with a goofy grin, "Mmmm what? Oh Xanya said, and I quote, 'A girl Fest? Are you sure that..., Never mind that, If you like me along for a girl fest then I'll join. I got to warn you though. it would be my first... so go gentle on me.' end quote, to Raisa, Fran, and I. I was simply pointing out that it was chock full of innuendo. She didn't realize what a gutter my mind is it seems." she says with a teasing grin.

Xanya starts to blush a bit more. "alright meaby we should discuss something else. Like who this girl is huggin you Vessa?" She smiles and moves her hand up to Maina for a hand shake. "My name is Xanya. I think we haven't met yet, did we?"

Maina keeps one arm around Vessa, but the other goes out for the shake, "Wow, that is a -lot- of innuendo... and we have met! When I first met you, you told me about how you used to be a man and you needed to buy a bra, remember? I certainly didn't forget. Second time we met, we were talking about how we could change you back without surgery, and you said you wanted to be part dragon instead. You, um... stand out in one's memory a bit."

Vessa Harden nods at Maina's words, "Yup, you two met as she said. This is Maina, my goddess and my love. I told you about her in the Tavern the other day as well." she continues to lean into Maina and enjoy the contact.

Xanya nods and feels embarrassed for not remembering. "Right, Your one of the select few who know that of me." She says looking away a bit. "How could I possibly forget that." She thinks a bit then looks to Vessa. "She is the one you talked about?" She looks to Maina then back to Vessa. "nice catch, Vess."

Maina giggles softly and blushes, bringing the other arm around Vessa's waist again. "She caught me completely off guard when she said she was interested, but... well, she's one of my oldest friends. I thought it was worth a shot, and it turns out I was right. So what was this about a girl fest? Am I invited?"

Vessa Harden leans back enough to kiss Maina then grins, "Always," she looks over at Xanya and says with an honest and heartfelt voice, "I am constantly reminded with each thought how very very lucky I am that Maina came into my life, it is not so much that I caught her but that she caught me, totally and completely." she leans her head back to rest against Maina's shoulder, "I met up with Fran and we were about to kill a few hours when Raisa arrived. Fran was saying it was turning into a girl fest but Raisa had some private catching up to do so they headed off. By the way love, I spoke to the Boss this morning and you may just get a wish of yours." she says in a teasing voice.

Xanya leans back a bit and smiles shaking her head a little. "Darn I wish I had a camera right about now." She says to herself.

"I know she was released some time ago, not sure what happened after that. If there was a trial or what but one day she was just gone." she does a one-armed shrug, "As for your wish." she says in that same teasing tone, "it has something to do with a certain mercenary group and my involvement in it."

Xanya looks questioningly to Vessa. "Mercenary group? your sounding more and more like a dangerous girl that should be avoided, Vessa." Smiles a bit with a wink.

Maina pecks Vessa's cheek with a little 'glee' sound, "You're leaving the group?" She glances towards Xanya with an eyeroll, "She does all this training and fighting and shooting stuff, yeah. But dangerous? Pffft. Only if you try and hurt me."

Vessa Harden grins widely at Maina, "That is what I was going to say." she nods with feeling and tilts her head in Maina's direction while speaking to Xanya, "That is exactly it. I am not dangerous unless someone goes after those I care about and love. I am only really truly dangerous if anyone goes after Maina." she leans her head back against Maina's shoulder, "It isn't a done deal love, just a possibility but, I might, and I stress might, get the position of Captain of the DMC. If that happens then the Boss made it clear that I would have to leave REM."

Xanya smiles looking at the two lovers. "I know what you mean Vessa. I'd be dangerous too if people hurt those I care about." Thinks a bit. "I wonder thought. what would be more dangerous. Your hands or my blade?" She says with a wink.

Maina smiles a bit, "That'd be nice..." She wrinkles her nose at Xanya, "You have a blade? I thought you were a scientists assistant. I'd wager Vessa's hands, though, 'cause, uh... if you cut her, I jump in, and then things get really, really dangerous. As dangerous as Vessa is, I beat her in roughly, what? Two seconds?" She leans in to peck Vessa's cheek, "No offense, love."

Vessa Harden chuckles softly, "I don't look to be dangerous, I don't look for fights. I am fully capable of fighting someone with a blade even though I don't myself use one." she grins wider, "And yeah, I don't think Maina would let it go if I did slip in a spar or fight either." she looks over at Maina with amusement, "That you did love, nothing I could have done against you either. No offense taken, it just means you got mad skills." she returns the kiss and leans comfortably again.

Xanya giggles. "you two might be right. not a good idea to try out our skills on each other."

Maina smiles over at Xanya, "So what've you been up to? Learning to stab people, apparently?"

Vessa Harden gives Maina an amused look, "Isn't that an easy thing to know? I thought it was harder to learn how to avoid being stabbed." she nods to her injured shoulder, "One I am apparently still learning." she says in wry self amusement then looks over at Xanya, "But I second her question, what have you been up to?"

Xanya smiles. "Stabbing is easy indeed. and something I prefer not to do if can help it." Thinks a bit. "what have I been doing. Mostly just looking around getting to know this world. trying to get used to this new life. trying to meet new people. all in all, .... not much interesting to talk about. ... from my point of view."

Maina nods a little towards Xanya. She's hugging Vessa from behind, each resting their heads on the other's shoulders, both chatting with Xanya near their ships.

"I dunno, seems like getting used to a completely new life is a bit of an adventure." she gives Maina a kiss, "One I have now learned to love, uh sans visits to med centers anyway. Those I don't enjoy so much." she considers Xanya for a moment, "How is that job treating you?"

Xanya nods to Maina. "it is an adventure indeed. and only time will tell if I will enjoy this new life. and the job is going fine so far."

Wormhole enters the docking hub after finishing his shift in the REM HQ, and now he was going to see about gathering more resources for his side projects. He sighs slightly and looks around a bit. He looks around the bay, looking at all the various ships docked here.

Maina doesn't spot Wormhole at the moment, attention on Vessa and Xanya. "What was your new job? I don't recall you mentioning."

Vessa Harden does notice Wormhole but only because she had been keeping an eye on the surroundings during the conversation. She gives a quick wave to him before returning her attention to the conversation, "I seem to remember something, bah it's gone. Sorry Xan, I have to admit to forgetting the particulars myself."

Xanya smiles to the girls. "do you two remember ... Opodians. I have been working with them."

Wormhole notices the others, he frowns slightly, before changing his direction to Vessa after returning her wave before she looked away again. Stepping up to the pair, he nods, before looking to Vessa. "Hey..."

Maina glances over towards Wormhole, making a face and hugging Vessa tighter, "Oh joy..." is all she manages.

"Opodians huh? What do they have you doing? Enjoying the work at least?" she looks back over at Wormhole with a grin at his monosyllabic greeting, "Hiya Wormy, wuzzup." she reaches up to lay an arm over the two wrapped around her and gives them a squeeze and rub.

"Yea, I can't complain yet with the work." Xanya looks over to Wormhole. "Hi there."

Wormhole looks to Xanya and provides a smile to Xanya before responding. "Not much...work work. You?" He looks to Vessa. "Are you against me too, with what I am trying to do?"

Maina wrinkles her nose as Wormhole ignores her entirely. She nudges Vessa a bit, "He's the one that hit Fade. The cute kid Riftwalker."

Vessa Harden blinks in surprise at Wormhole as she responds to Maina, "I remember love, he is also a member of REM." she then replies to Wormhole, "That is a hell of a question man. I am not really against anyone at this point, I am also not really sure how you are going to achieve what you want. It sounds to me like some rather big fish are after the tiny pool that is REM, ones with deep pockets. What is it you hope to do with REM should you get it? I have to admit to having a great deal of curiosity as to what your plan is."

Xanya looks to Wormhole. "I'm doing fine if that's what your asking. and yes I do have a job." She puts a hand in front of her mouth to try and hide a yawn.

Wormhole frowns at Maina. "He was sleeping. I was trying to wake him up," he says, though, he meant it in a more figurative fashion then that literal. Of course, anyone could tell Maina and Worm's relationship was...perhaps not a very friendly one. He looks to Vessa and nods, "Joca was upset over it. My plan is to continue to do with it as Dirionis did with it, with perhaps little change." He shrugs and looks the others present. "I asked cause Joca seemed to not like what I was doing." He sighs slightly, and shrugs slightly. "I know I'll likely need more credits than what I got to get it, but I'll find a way...I just don't want the wrong people buying out the REM, mostly."

Maina wrinkles her nose, "You ass. He thinks this universe is a dream, so what? Doesn't give you the right to hit a kid. You're the reason our kind has such a bad name. You're the reason we're going to have to make lethal punishment the only punishment for Riftwalkers on Eiru." Her arms tighten around Vessa.

Vessa Harden considers all of the different conversations going on, "First, Maina is right in that hitting someone isn't really the best way to convince them they aren't dreaming but as for REM." she seems to organize her thoughts, "I know one buyer who has the creds and the interest in purchasing who would care for the REM." she pats Maina's arms softly and looks to Xanya, "You tired Xan?"

Xanya nods to Vessa. "Seems like it."

Wormhole tilts his head, "A little slap isn't going to give Riftwalkers a bad name. Who doesn't slap someone every once in a while." He sighs slightly, before returning his attention to Vessa, "Sometimes, words aren't always enough to convince someone what's a dream and what isn't...Who?" He looks around, to see if there are any shuttles in the area.

Maina rolls her eyes, "But you being on the news no less than three times for causing trouble -is- enough to significantly contribute, now isn't it?"

Vessa Harden smiles to Xanya, "Stick around as long as you like but head off to bed if you get too tired." she looks over to Wormhole, "Katrin, the owner of the Bull and Hawk Tavern and the Devil May Care, she is interested in purchasing REM." she stays out of Maina and Wormhole's conversation for now but it is obvious that she is listening with interest.

Wormhole shrugs to Maina, before looking to Vessa, "Ah, I know her a little." He shrugs and then looks to a landing shuttle. "Well, I got some stuff I need to take care of," he says. "Take care." With that he leaves, getting slightly uncomfortable around Maina.

Xanya nods to Vessa. "That is not such a bad idea. even thought I would love to stay here a bit longer and talk to you girls some more. get to know each other a bit better." Yawns again. "I think it's best If I go get some sleep."

Maina gives Wormhole the Eye of Death the entire time as he walks away. "Asshole. He's half the reason I don't tell people what I am." It takes a few moments, but she realizes Xanya spoke, "Oh... right, sorry. Sleep well."

Vessa Harden nods to Xanya with a smile as she squeezes Maina's arms gently, "Sleep well Xan, we will hang again at some point." she leans up and kisses Maina, "Don't let him or people like him ruin your pride in who and what you are. I am proud of who and what you are and I will kick anyone who would find fault with you."

Xanya smiles to Vessa and Maina. "I am sure the three of us will hang again some time." She stands up. "till we meet and chat again,.... stay safe girls." She waves as she walks away to find a place to sleep.

Maina smiles a little, "Rest well..." She sighs, hugging Vessa again, "I'm not proud of what I am, Vessa... not when what I am leads to people like him."

Vessa Harden waves to Xanya but Maina's words cause a frown to form on her face before she sighs, "There is one phrase I heard once that I think is pertinent here. Be the change you wish to see. Be a riftwalker you can be proud of and who make a lie out of those who would sully your people. Don't let them win love, take pride in yourself, and part of being yourself is being a riftwalker to be proud of."

Maina gives a weak little nod. "I just prefer to think I come from a different place as the rest... that I'm not like them. I mean... humans have lots of peoples, right? Lots of cultures and places to come from. Maybe I'm just a different kind of Riftwalker."

Vessa Harden nods and gives Maina a kiss, "Absolutely, humans as well as other races have different kinds of people and lots of places they come from. All that really matters to me though, is that you are you. Though you may be right that your kind all come from different places, much like humans do."

Maina smiles a little at the kiss, "So... what do we do now, mm?"

Vessa Harden smiles in the way of a kid hoping for candy, "Was thinking some coffee would be nice and.." at this point her stomach decides to announce it has been woefully neglected, "Er, maybe food too." she blushes, "Forgot to eat." she says in embarrassment.

Maina giggles softly, "You keep doing that... fine. Let's get some dinner, okay?"

Vessa Harden nods with a grin, "Sounds good to me, by the way I have heard of this Last Orders Tavern but never been, thought I might try it. Do you happen to know where it is?"

Maina shakes her head, "I don't think so... is it on Co- oh! Is... I think I do know."

Vessa Harden turns in Maina's arms enough to get her own around Maina's waist, "Then shall we away oh goddess mine? I shall follow your lead." she says with a quick kiss and a wink.

Maina returns the kiss with a giggle, "Depends. Will you let me go so I can lead?"

Vessa Harden looks thoughtful, "Hmmmmm, that is a hard decision." her stomach decides her and she looks down saying, "Traitor." before letting Maina go with a sigh, "Oh alright, but I will take full advantage of the view." she wiggles her eyebrows suggestively at Maina as she says this.

Maina giggles softly, starting off, wiggling her rear in an over-the-top manner.

Vessa Harden wolf-whistles Maina and waves her face with her good hand, "Damn woman, keep that up and we can forget food, I will just carry you off to the ship." she gives a lecherous wink.

Maina giggles terribly at that, "You're horrible!"

Last Orders Tavern - Comorro Station - <Comorro Station> ~~ A smoky haze hangs in the air of this shadowy tavern, with chalky white walls of cartilage and tables that look like flat-topped mushrooms surrounded by cushioned metal benches.

The central bar counter is a D-shaped structure of gray-green bone and cartilage, coated in the familiar protective webbing seen elsewhere aboard Comorro.

Holovid projectors display news reports from throughout the worlds of Hiverspace, from Rigor Strand to Hekayt Prime.

~~

"Mastair Diri was... very important. If it were not for 'im I would 'ave been abandon or mad or sold. Because of 'im I could 'ave 'ad a good life 'ere and now I do not know what I will do tomorrow. Do you 'ave se understanding, Mademoiselle Raisa? At least people do not sink you were -nussing- to 'im, ne?" Joca says, very quietly and while her ocean-colored eyes are flashing there is little venom in her voice, only exhaustion. "...I regret every day leaving se two of you alone but it was made clear to me sat... you 'ad your territory. So I do not dislike you for no reason. At least you are allowed to mourn Mastair Diri." She sits back, pinching the bridge of her nose, and clears her throat before reaching for the drink again. Joca and Raisa are sitting in a booth, speaking very quietly, although the heat haze around them can probably be seen from outside of Comorro at this point.

"I would have done anything for him," Raisa says, her voice low. "Including dying so he could have survived. We came together under unusual circumstances but we were /together/. He made his choice." Jocaira gets a hard look. "But I don't hate you for grieving for him. Or caring about him. He was important to a lot of people." She stands and shakes her head. After the French woman gets another look, she crosses for the exit.

"Juste assez./Fair enough," is Joca's only reply, and she maintains eye contact, despite the fogginess in her eyes, through the entire conversation, keeping her back straight and her drink held firmly in her hand. "Au revoir."

Vessa Harden walks into the Tavern behind Maina, looking around in curiosity. She sees Raisa and gives her a nod, "Seems I keep just missing you today." she greets with a smile, looking over in the direction of Joca's voice.

Maina likely would not have even noticed the pair, but since she's coming in with Vessa as Raisa makes her escape... Raisa gets a dirty look, "How'd you get out? Bribe the guards with a flirty look to save the damsel in distress again?" It's a flippant comment, and she keeps walking unless someone makes to try and stop her. She only briefly glances towards the table Raisa came from, apparently finding the occupant not worth more than a slightly wrinkled nose. "Shall we sit, Vessa?"

Maina does stop, now, looking between the pair. "Wait, you know her? Wait, -she's- the 'Joca' you talk about in the REM? I thought she was just Doctor Hall's whore."

"'e should 'ave! Se mutinous sack of dirt got lawyer be'ind our backs." Joca replies to Vessa, taking no offense to Maina's comment, answering that with a shrug. "'ey, got to pay se Doctair... you no want 'im anyways. Psht."

Vessa Harden looks at Maina and nods at her question if not her assessment of Joca's side job. "Yeah, this is the Joca I meant with REM." she looks back to Joca, "He did? I was wondering who got the lawyer but I figured it might be him. He isn't going to win, lawyer or no so it doesn't much matter. There are too many against him and he simply does not have the funds. Which means that he will have shot himself in the foot, so to speak, with this lawyer because not only will he not win REM, but he will have to pay for someone who failed to get it for him."

Maina wrinkles her nose, "You don't even look like a fighter type. What's your job in REM, keeping the recruits 'happy'? And by 'happy' I mean sexed. If that wasn't clear."

"Neh, only to recruit sem," Joca yawns, finishing off her drink, still taking no offense. "I mean if sey sink sey will get sex, it would make sem more eager to sign se contracts, hmm? Phew. Alsough some of sem I would not mind..."

Vessa Harden rolls her eyes then looks at Joca, "Got news, spoke to Katrin, the one I told you about who was interested in purchasing REM. I mentioned that you would make a good leader for the place if she ends up purchasing it. If you are interested that is. She said she would speak to you about it but I thought I would give you a heads up. And only recruit the really good ones with sex, otherwise it is just a waste of time."

Maina wrinkles her nose, "Nobody else finds this totally gross? I'm really the only one?"

"Ey, is no my fault you do not like se boys," Joca retorts, albeit quietly, to Maina, and then nods to Vessa. "I sank you. It may be se only option, Monsieur Worm'ole I sink would run it bad. I 'ave not stopped looking for se will, ne?"

Vessa Harden slides an arm around Maina and shakes her head, "I am kidding love." she nods to Joca, "He would run it into the ground yes. I am hoping that Katrin will complete the purchase and appoint you leader. I will be happy to help with that in any way you need me to as well. I wish the will would appear but I am losing hope of that day by day. Diri's mercs will end up as someone's I just hope it is someone who can do it honor and keep it going strong."

Maina wrinkles her nose, "I like the boys. I don't like the sluttery. I agree, though, Wormhole is an ass and would cause more trouble than good with REM under him. I just don't really know anything about -you- other than you sleep with geneticists to pay bills. That doesn't really sound like a master of business, either."

"'ey, I did not put se treatment on Mastair Diri's account, I sink sat is fine business," Joca replies, sticking the tip of her tongue between her teeth. Her PDA goes off, and she unholsters it smoothly to squint at it over her drink. "Ahh, Merde." Dropping some credits on the counter, she heads for the door.

Vessa Harden is standing next to Maina as they speak to Joca who was recently sitting at a table but is now running off, "Have a good one Joca, speak soon kay." she says in a highly amused voice before turning to Maina, "Shall we take a seat and order then?" she waves her one good arm to an empty table, the other in a sling.

Eelim swaggers in at that moment, the tattoed Aukami sliding past Jocaira with a, "What up, girl." He keeps stepping towards the bar, detouring towards Vessa as he spots her. "What it issss, Vessa." He says in greeting, giving Maina a raise of his chin as well. "Whatchu tryin' to get on?" Glowing green hues spackled with copper shift left and right, casually glancing around.

Maina gives a little finger-wiggle-wave to Joca, giving a nod to Vessa, "Just not the table she just left. I think it might have cooties." Eelim gets a totally weirded out look, "And so long as we sit away from this guy."

"Ey!" Joca replies, stringing her headset around her neck as she heads for the door. "I need to take call, I come back, buy you drink, ne?" Maina just gets an eyeroll. "What treatment you sink I -pay- for, pah. Silly girl." And, she jingle-saunters out to take the call.

Vessa Harden is about to return Eelim's greeting until she hears Maina refer to him as 'this guy' in which case she sort of tilts sideways, shaking her head she grins over at Eelim, "Heya Eelim, what's happenin' man?" she waves to Joca with her good arm and calls after her, "Sounds good Joca," before laughing, "We can go to another table love, this is Eelim a friend of mine. He and his lady are quite pleasant company."

"Damn, can't a Auk walk in a tavern for a couple moments before he starts gettin' hated on?" The thug smirks, seemingly more amused than serious. His hues gain a little gold in them, shifting to look at Vessa. "Hows that arm? Buy you a drink?" A look towards the bar before his gaze returns to them.

Maina makes a face, "Why do you know all the creepy ones, love?" She gives Vessa a nudge, then a grumbly look at Eelim, "Only person who buys Vessa drinks is me, dear." She tugs at Vessa to lead her to the nearest non-Joca'd table.

Vessa Harden is about to answer Eelim when she is tugged along giving Eelim a somewhat helpless look, "He isn't creepy love." she says to Maina then looks a little confused, "Who do I know who is creepy?" she asks honestly curious before looking over to Eelim, "Feel free to join us Eelim, a drink would be great, and the arm is still attached much to the displeasure of a certain wildling who tried really really hard to removed for fun and profit. What have you been up to?" all of this said as she is being tugged off, walking sort of backwards.

"Ay, I aint tryin' to third wheel if ya girl there aint feelin' it." Eelim says, scratching the back of his head as its his turn to eye the couple with a small amount of confusion. "Yall gettin' it in? I didnt know you was for both teams, Vessa. Thats tight." He heads to grab a drink at the counter, coming back with a couple varmstrupes and standing a little slouched at their table. "Give ya boy a chance, huh?" He asides to Maina with a smirk.

Maina gives a sigh towards Vessa, "I was trying to avoid having the man who was hitting on you sit with us. He's creepy. Joca is totally creepy. Majors is creepy. You know a lot of creepy people, just saying." She looks towards Eelim after she sits, offering frankly, "I don't understand half of what you say."

Vessa Harden blinks at Maina, "Hitting on me? But but, he has a woman. Nice one too, and she is pregnant besides." she gives a one armed shrug to Eelim with a grin and, sliding into the booth herself she wraps an arm around Maina, "This is a rather new development Eelim, as for playing both sides well, I am more interested in the person then their gender." she gives Maina a kiss, "And even if he were hitting on me love, I already said I was yours alone, no need to worry. Let him join." she gives wide pleady eyes, "Please. He is a friend and helped get me through a tough time, not creepy, I promise."

"I wasn't hittin' on ol girl." Eelim replies, moving to sit beside Vessa if one is on each side of the table, and on the empty side if they're seated beside eachother. He takes a sip of his Hekayti drink and leans casually back in his seat, nodding his head just a touch as Vessa speaks. "Fsho, fsho. Thats a cool way of goin' about it." He pushes one varmstrupe in the middle of the table, adding. "If anyone wants one."

Maina makes a face, "You offered to buy her a drink." She leans into Vessa. "He can stay, not that saying 'no' would stop him at this point, it seems. Certainly didn't wait for a 'yes'."

Vessa Harden looks in curiosity at the drink, "This isn't one of those that made you go loopy at the Bull and Hawk is it? How strong is it?" she asks of Eelim, "I am not looking to get hammered this time around, though that stuff from last time was killer, only made it through half the bottle before I got called to work, drank a lot of water that night." she shoots him a brief grin before looking at Maina, "It was more a one of the guys kind of offer I think love. At least, that is how I took it." she slides the glass over and gives it a look, sniffing the contents, "It has punch." she says quietly.

"Nah, nah, thats the brain bender." Eelim says with a small snicker, taking another sip and waving his hand dismissively, "Yeah, me an Vessa are jus' friends, don't trip." He casually sets his glass down, shrugging towards Vessa, "Its strong, not gon lie. But I'll finish what you don't drink. Ya girl sounds like she could use a little liq though. Loosen up a bit, feel me?"

Maina rolls her eyes, "Wouldn't do any good, thanks."

Vessa Harden gives a one armed shrug, takes the glass, and takes a good drink of it. "Ohhh, not bad. She leans back and starts enjoying the drink before flagging down a waiter to order food, whatever was on special before looking back, "What has been happening since we last spoke, hope no more trouble from whoever, whom I have not seem by the by."
