This broad thoroughfare is named after the late media tycoon Aaron Couture, who started a small news outlet called Couture Broadcasting Network in 2591 and grew it over time into the powerful interstellar news agency called the Consortium Broadcasting Network.
The road runs north-south from Wynden Street, leading from the commercial district toward a mountain valley that contains power stations, factories, industrial parks, and manufacturing facilities.
