NEW RESILIENCE, MATERI SYNA - The Orion Confederacy has revealed today that both the Opodian and the Llivori governments committed acts of war upon them in their mission to help save Kamsho.

"They fired missiles on us," stated Vladimir Itsov, "We have comm logs, sensor data and visual feed from three capital ships confirming it, which we are making available to the public."

The Confederacy held a meeting with the Opodians today, urging them to redeem themselves. "We don't want a war. We want to resolve this bloodlessly, but they fired on us. We have to do something," Vladimir told a reporter.

Rumors say that the Opodians snubbed the Confederacy's offer and that the Confederacy plans to enter into talks with the Llivori before taking any further action.

OPE'MOT, KAMSHO - An emissary for the Opodian government denies committing acts of war against the so-called Orion Confederacy. In fact, Jorta Opo'te raised concerns that the outversers are succumbing to madness as a result of being stranded in an alien universe.

"I traveled to Comorro Station in good faith to hear more about their offer to establish some sort of alliance," the emissary said. "Instead, I was insulted and threatened with repercussions for denting one of the shuttles that they chose to put in the path of danger near *our* world."

The emissary went on to say that he didn't fear the Confederacy's plan to approach the Llivori next.

"The Llivori fired missiles that day too," Jorta said. "If the Confederacy opens their chat with 'You tried to blow us up, give us what we want,' I imagine that will go over quite favorably."

ASHKODT COLONY - The Konterbeid colony of Ashkodt will be witness to the arrival of its first generation of offspring in 20 years with the arrival of a new Emergence this weekend.

The colony, an official territory under the aegis of Hekayti government and the broader alliance known as the Multiverse Commonwealth, was founded a millennium ago in the name of the Konterbeid caste.

The Emergence ceremony provides for the orderly introduction of a well-trained and respectful new generation to the world.

ASHKODT - A Gankri computer hacker is in custody at this hour after apparently altering the programming of nearly two thousand Hekayti in a new generation of colonists that had been expected to make their first appearance today during the Emergence ceremony.

The ceremony was cut short after generation management personnel met resistance from the new Hekayti, who apparently refused to follow instructions and didn't want to settle for the lives for which they had been programmed.

The Gankri is expected to undergo thorough questioning, followed by a trial. The sentence for tainting a generation of Hekayti colonists: Death.

Ashkodt scientists say they may be able to salvage the generation with secondary reprogramming. Only that, officials say, will persuade them to relent on the death penalty.

ASHKODT - The currently sequestered Hekayti colonists who were due to make their debut during today's cancelled Emergence apparently are revolting against the scientists inside the generation management center.

Sources close to the colony government report that the youths want to be freed from captivity to pursue their own destinies in the world beyond. However, the government, under the leadership of the Colonial Moot, seems unlikely to relent.

In a statement issued by the Moot this evening, the council said that it remains committed to the prospect of properly reprogramming the Emergent generation.
