Background
Jeffrey Corris, citizen of Mars. Born on Mars to a prominent local politician (father) and his Terran mother, Jeffrey Corris would be the sole child born to the couple. Growing up on Mars, Corris was exposed to some of the more interesting experiences that living on Earth may not have gotten him. His father, a strong proponent of Mars independence, ensured that Corris was raised with his beliefs, while his mother did not take sides in the matter. After finishing school, Corris left for Earth to continue his studies. While on Earth, Corris finished a double-major at a well respected University (that his father helped in get into). He studied Journalism and Politics, receiving degrees in both. Right out of University, Corris decided to work as a column writer for a large Terran News agency, writing on crime and political news. After several years of experience in that position, Corris pushed for a move to Mars. After a lot of discussion and debate, he was reassigned - reporting out of Mars on a variety of topics. He was happy to be home, and reported the news for another two years there before leaving to get involved in a local political race. After a double-digit victory in that campaign, Corris went on to have his father elected to office. While his father wanted him to get involved in Consortium politics, Corris stepped back and returned to Earth to breath. Recently arriving on his, he looks to clear a path for his future - where ever that may take him. After residing on Earth for many years, Corris begun to pursue a career within the Consortium government, eventually rising to the position of Councillor on the Consortium Council for Mars as the Martian (Human) representative on the Council. He has been approached to also represent Earth, due to his strong ties to the planet, however his loyalties are on Mars. He is a vocal member of the council.
Description
Before you stands a Human Male. He is somewhat plain-featured, nothing particularly stands out of this human from any other of the billions that are out there. He stands around six feet tall, perhaps abit taller. He has short jet black hair that is combed back. He has dark green eyes and appears to be of middle age. He appears to be in modest physical condition. The man wears a white dress shirt, with a pocket in the left breast. Silver cufflinks are attached to the end of the sleeve. Over the shirt the man wears a dark grey jacket that he leaves unbuttoned. He also wears matching dark grey dress pants and polished black shoes. On his belt, he has a small pouch to keep his PDA and Commlink.
