3rd Company (Grey Raiders), The Imperial Westwatch Regiment

Members of the elite 3rd Company (Grey Raiders), Imperial Westwatch Regiment, during a large scale strike on a bandit stronghold in the wilderness of the Shadow District. Marshal Samell Lomasa can be seen in the back row with the bronze, crested helmet on.

The 3rd Company of the Imperial Westwatch Regiment, known as the Grey Raiders, is considered one of the most elite units within the Emperor's Blades, due to their trying standards for soldiers within the Company and very high level of success on operations. They have been used on precision strikes mainly within the Shadow District since 617 ATA, though have been seen on maneover throughout the are of the West Aegis Garrison, being known as Captain Haselor Zahir's favourite shock troops. They are commanded by Marshal Samell Lomasa.

Many experimental pieces of equipment have recently been tested by the unit under combat conditions in the field, including new models for weapons, shields, and most notably their unusual segmented plate armour. This special equipment has gone on to be issued to other elite Companies throughout the Blades, as well as all the members of the Imperial General Staff.

Corporal Lucius Nepos is a former member of the Company.
