Appearance
This humanoid female is 5'8" tall and slim, she has green eyes and long dark auburn hair that appears to be a deep red when viewed in the light, she wears it loose, flowing down her back and around her face in relaxed curls. She walks with an alert step, always scanning the surroundings. She often has a mysterious smile that seems to indicate she knows something others don't. She is dressed in black jeans, a white loose collared T-shirt with a stylized celtic drawing of a raven in black on the front is tucked into the waist of her pants. Her jeans are tucked into black leather motorcycle type boots, which encase her feet and reach to her knees, lacing up on the outside of her legs.
Around her neck is a thin deep green chord, about a quarter centimeter thick. It appears dark and shiny, as though wet. On the green cord is a small, silver, heart-shaped locket, bordered by a rope-shaped engraving, and in the center is etched an ethereal-looking angel. Above and going under the cord you see the tips of two claw gashes. When her gloves are off her slim white hands are graced with rings, one on her right hand's ring finger, the other is on her left ring finger.
Over this she wears a long black trenchcoat with a hood that she often wears up to shadow her face. On her hands she wears tough black leather gloves.

You may have heard rumors that she once piloted for the famed pirate John Falkenberg on the now destroyed Fallen Angel, but there is no evidence to prove this. You might know that she was engaged to Centurion Silvano Frost of the Martian Legions until his death, 17 March 3001, caused by a freak datapadd accident. She had the Memory Wall built on Hesperia Beach, Mars, in his honor. Some may know that she once dated the infamous Bart Ritter of La Terre fame. You may have heard that she was the fiancee of Carduus Reslienki, well-known artist from Luna, who was also her first mate on the Dark Angel.
Though the Dark Angel could be seen almost anywhere, it's home base was Sanctuary, later known as Concordance Station. She would work charter jobs if the payment is high enough.
During October 3002 Jasra was hired to replace the Chief Pilot of Sanctuary. You may be aware that she was piloting the Sanctuary to Nocturn when the colony ship was invaded by the forces of the Clawed Fist Fleet and was one of the held captives for quite a while, as far as anyone outside of Sanctuary knows.
Since the rift in the universe Jasra has dropped out of sight for the most part. Sometimes seen at a local drinking holes on the Comorro. She has become elusive, keeping to herself and seems to man her new ship, Stardancer, alone.
Update 02/14/2654: After losing yet another ship with the accidental destruction of the Stardancer, Jasra now hangs out in the less traveled areas of the Comorro. Rumor is she's looking for her stash of Scotch that seem to have been lost in Comorro's junk maze.

Family
Jasra's father died when she was a small child, her mother remarried when she was 10. She never got along with her stepfather who verbally abused her and belittled her every chance he got. Finally he insisted that her mother choose between him and her child when Jasra was 12. When her mother chose her stepfather, he literally threw her out of the house and she has never returned.
While living on the streets Jasra met Raven. Raven took Jasra in and taught her how to survive on her own, how to feel good about herself and how to leave her unhappy past behind her. When Jasra was 18 Raven died suddenly leaving her alone again, but stronger due to the love and training of Raven. Jasra heard that some ships were in need of crew and having nothing to tie her to where she lived with Raven, she has made her way to Sanctuary to seek out her future as a pilot on one of those ships.
