The Svajone Coalition is the name given to the planets, space stations, and area under the administration of the Svajone.

Government

The Svajone Coalition is ran by an elderly human Outverser named Mikage, serving as both station commander as well as the head of the Svajone Coalition's government. Top assistants and advisers to Mikage make up the upper echelons of the coalition's leadership, collectively known as 'Svajone Command.' These leaders are tasked with diplomatic, cultural, legal, and military tasks of the Svajone Coalition.

Basic Legal

In the interests of characters knowing what to expect in coalition territory, a sample of answers to the most common legal questions has been provided. An effort has been made to put this legal information in normal English, attempting to use this page to skirt the intent of the legal information provided may be hazardous.

  1. Terran Standard is the official language of government and business within the coalition. Note that this does not mean one is prohibited from speaking another language on the station, but rather states that those on the station have the right to be able to conduct any governmental or business transactions in Terran.
  2. Citizens of the coaltion may carry weapons within coalition territory, so long as ranged weapons are kept 'two steps' from firing. (In a practical sense, this means it takes one round to prepare a legally maintained weapon to be fired). Those performing security or military service are exempt from this requirement. Command areas is an exception, where those not performing relevant security or military duties are banned from carrying weapons. In some rare cases, these restrictions may be waived. Non-citizens are barred from carrying weapons on the station.
  3. Citizens of the Svajone Coalition are required to maintain proper station identification for submission to security upon request.
  4. While the Svajone does not have an advanced commercial code, it is generally held that contracts shall be honored, and those purchasing goods and services have the right to acquire products free of defects.
