Ok, a lot of the stuff that's here is wrong for Variant 1. There never was a Kretonian occupation of THIS Ungstir, for example, and there are three pieces, not one. This is a perfect example of how much the reset of Variant 1 to the original-theme conditions prior to the first story arcs on Otherspace creates differences from what players came to know of a particular planet. All references to Ungstir being a single chunk of Youngster, and even references referring to Ungstir as "The Rock" are wrong. There were and are three large pieces of Ungstir; Ungstir Prime, Ungstir II and Ungstir III. It may be that one of the chunks could be "The Rock", with the others having different names, but this was not a term that came into usage for Ungstir until after there was only one piece left. "The Rock" was Ungstir II, which was the only piece left in the post-Kretonian, post-Sanctuary timeline. Ungstir Prime is actually the largest of the pieces, and it still exists in Variant 1.

We're also doing away with most of the Russian references. Ungstir was settled by Europeans, some of whom came from east of Berlin, but it wasn't the Soviet Union relocated. --Comorro 01:37, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Thank goodness for that. The Russian stuff was way overdone and didn't really start to show up in Ungstiri culture until around arc X. I mean, yeah, the Boromovs ruled Ungstir when Sanctuary returned but nobody ever said ALL Ungstiri were Russian. All of a sudden people who had played Ungstiri characters for years started saying "Da" instead of "Yes."--Falk 03:43, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Hell, I'm just moving shit over from the old wiki so you can tart it up to your own fancies --James 09:01, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, but the problem is almost none of the information is usable in this context and will have to be deleted. --Falk 13:10, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Kept the categories, but wiped most of the content except the intro which seemed to be mostly accurate to the best of my memory. That includes the historical stuff. The stuff is still in the page history section, so it's not like it's 'lost forever' if people want to dig through it. I just opted for a content wipe to make sure people who aren't familiar with the old universe don't look at it and get confused. sergeytov@yahoo.com 17:43, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
