Who She Is

Tiana Ryoleli is the wife of Rillitan Ryoleli, owner and commander of the Olympus Trading Company sporting the title of Commodore, and most often the face of the company. In Normalspace she was a Bounty Hunter alongside her husband, and the information gathering half of that team.

In Hiverspace she's gained somewhat of a reputation, the initial seeds of which began with the crew of her personal ship, the IND Laughing Fox, being kidnapped and experimented on by Thul. This reputation came to a peak when she refused to allow her crew to be taken into the Zar's custody on Kamsho, and was painted as a terrorist in the aftermath of that incident in addition to having a bounty placed on her head.

The downfall of the Zar seems to have made this bounty void, though none can say for sure.

Quintessential Description

A youth looking to be in her late teens to possibly her early twenties with slender feminine features and blessed with high cheekbones and intense, jade coloured eyes. Auburn hair is long though layered, reaching just past her hips at it's longest point. Hidden behind that shroud of hair, at the back of her neck, just above the crest of her shoulders the visible portion of an installed Datajack can be found. Delicate and slender in figure, though certainly not lacking in feminine curves. A pair of sleepers are set into her ears, the small gems a startlingly similar shade of green as that of her eyes. A wedding ring is secured upon her finger, the design simple, yet elegant.

Biography

Born in Briswood, Mars, a small town at the edge of the Glacial sea and bordering on Outbacker territory, as Tiana-Marie Vincess, Tiana is actually part Outbacker, though she doesn't know it. Orphaned at age 7 by a car accident which took her father and left her mother in a coma, Tiana was adopted by Andy and Rachelle Winfield, thereafter living in Hesperia, Mars. A noted genius, she did well in her youth in her schooling, but soon found the pace boring and left without finishing highschool. Instead she learned the art of Private Investigations from her adoptive parents, who owned their own Investigative Firm.

At the age of eighteen she left to search for her brother, an endeavor her new parents supported by releasing the money they'd saved for her college education so that she could pay for the transport around the galaxy and keep herself fed. A few months before her 19th birthday she found her brother Malion, and a few days later also met her future husband Rillitan.

It was only a month or two later that Tiana became the victim of mind-rape, and she was sent to a hospital on QuaQuan for treatment. After refusing to allow any psionic doctors to treat her, let alone come near her and even becoming violent towards them at times, she was taken out of the hospital and placed back into the custody of her brother and the crew of the IND Jackal.

The damage from the mind-rape has been left largely untreated to this day.

Tiana when she was 19

Shortly after her release from the hospital she was left to fend for herself on New Luna where she was reunited with Rillitan, whom she had been led to believe was dead.

She briefly took up duty with the New Luna Marines, though she found this job too stressful and quit to instead live and work with Rillitan. Working as a Bounty Hunter was even more stressful, but with Rillitan's help she managed to grow(mostly) accustom to the job and the extreme violence it could entail. Throughout this process Rillitan trained her in Tion Ree, a martial art he himself invented, and one only he and Tiana are known to use.

She is a survivor of both the Phyrrian War, and the Blockade of Tomin Kora.

Arriving in Hiverspace a few years ago, she spent six months without her husband, bleakly trying to come to terms with the fact that she might never see him again.

Pets

Mr Fluffers

A particularly large, black and white, chubby cat. Chaotic and hyperactive in his youth, he had a penchant for getting loose and wreaking havock on whoever happened to be around by violently demanding attention. In his adulthood he's grown quite lazy, and often can only be found running if there's food around, though he's been known to still play with Rillitan whether the Timonae wants to or not. He was born on the 13th of March 3007.

Likes: Food, sleeping, playing, chewing on people and chewing on shoes.
Dislikes: Staying inside.

Favourite people (in order): Tiana, Rillitan, Arizhel and pretty much anyone who feeds him.

He can be highly protective of Tiana, and is known to stay very close if she's sick, or lay on her stomach if she's taken to bed.

Fortuna

A gift from Aadzrian when Tiana broke her collarbone just before the Blockade of Tomin Kora, Fortuna was rescued from becoming someone's meal to instead become a well loved member of Tia's brood.

The most intelligent of the three cats, Fortuna was very shy at first due to the unsavory conditions she was raised in. After a year or so of patient care and attention, Fortuna's become a very friendly, and curious member of the feline trio. Often she'll run out to greet new people, offering a friendly mewl to say hello.

Unlike Mister Fluffers or Mithras, Fortuna doesn't outright steal food off of someone's plate or out of their hand, instead waiting patiently until a morsel is willingly offered.

Named after the Martian Goddess of Luck(Whom Tiana is convinced is one and the same as the Lady), Tiana believes the cat brings good luck to the crew in times of hardship. Fortuna was born on the 2nd of July, 3008.

Mithras

Mithras is the most recent of Tiana's brood of pets, a kitten picked from The Kitten Tree on the 19th July, 2561 CE. He tends towards being clumsy, and easily influenced by Mister Fluffers and Fortuna.

He loves to play, and thinks everyone else should too, thus he can often be found pouncing on anyone, or anything that moves. He really seems to like Reode, and shows it by stealing her food and getting her to chase him for it.

Unlike Mister Fluffers, he realizes that Rillitan isn't the most playful of people, and instead of trying to engage the Timonae, Mithras simply follows him around until something interesting catches his eye and distracts him.

Kui

A rat Tiana found in the Tarple patch in Svajone's garden on the 22nd November, 2561 CE.

He is the runt of a pack of psionic-rats, and lacking the psionic abilities the others possess. In addition to this, Kui is blind, thus he doesn't move around very much, and when he does it's at a very slow, testing pace.

He tends to sleep a lot, and is comfortable with sleeping in one of Tiana's pockets or sometimes on the brim of one of her hats. His favourite food is Tarple. It's been suggested he was once a giant space rat which has been shrunk down, but the person who suggested that was shot. Four times. In the face.

Bast

Bast is a Zurlti that was bought in Hiverspace shortly after the Olympus was acquired. Poorly treated, Tiana saw the purchase more as a rescue than a desire for a new pet. This poor treatment has left the big cat a bit unreliable in her behaviour, though she seems to have taken fairly well to the Olympus' crew. She remains tethered for the safety of all who visit or reside on the Olympus.

A strong animal, it's difficult to move her without crating her, which in turn is a anxiety inducing course of action for the feline. Thus, lest an emergency state occurs, Bast is never moved from her post in the Olympus' docking bay.
