This is very much a work in progress and will require a lot of input from players new and old. The idea is to supply names of weapons that characters can use as role-play tools if they so desire, but in no way will this be a complete list. We hope to include the most common weapons someone would experience, and give names so that your Slug Pistol is not just another Slug Pistol, but perhaps an antique M1911 .45 calibre semi-automatic pistol brought from Earth or an Opodian Arms "Opodi's Growl" 10mm caseless semiautomatic pistol. Player made weapons can be copies of these items, or perhaps unique items of their own design.

Weapons of the Aukami

There exists an interesting juxtaposition when it comes to the weapons of the Aukami. While the Aukami are some of the most technologically advanced of Hiverspace, they are not known for producing a large amount of weapons. While capable of producing pretty much any weapon, they are best known for their pulse weapons - some of which are essentially fragile works of art. They have in the past mass-produced lines of weapons for those who served the Zarists, and their weapons are favored especially by the Opodians.

Weapons of the Falari

An evolutionary necessity of flight is light weight for size, which tends to necessitate adaptations such as less dense bones. The Falari are no exception, and as such they prefer weapons that are also light for their size and have minimal recoil. Their weapons are famous for their lightweight construction for their size. Pulse weapons are the most common, and shock weapons are also quite popular - though the technology is such that they cannot be made as lightweight and tend to be more expensive.

  • Manufacturers of Falari Weapons
    • Lonely Feather Armaments
Lonely Feather Armaments is the premier weapons company amongst the Falari, specializing in pulse and shock weapons.

  • LFA "Bellow" Prototype Shock Pistol
    Represented by: Shock Pistol.
A new design of Lonely Feather Armaments, there are still some design flaws that need to be ironed out. The weapon uses a laser to ionize air which provides a "track" for the electricity to follow. Some problems currently being fixed include a build up of static electricity, being quite heavy, and a delicate laser crystal. Despite the obvious advantages of waiting for the eventual series 2 version, the "Bellow" is still quite popular and seen as a status symbol amongst the more militantly minded Falari.

  • LFA Series 2 "Thundercall" Shock Rifle
    Represented by: Shock Rifle.
The "Thundercall" was fast-tracked through the prototype phase once most of the kinks were fixed. They still are rather heavy for a Falari weapon, and are considered temperamental. Despite these disadvantages, it is a very popular weapon and commonly used by Falari shock-troopers. It is expected that the Series 3 is forthcoming, and rumor has it that with it may be introduced an assault variant.

  • LFA Series 3 "Morning Light" Pulse Pistol
    Represented by: Pulse Pistol.
The "Morning Light" is the standard issue sidearm of all the branches of the Falari armed forces, and remains popular amongst those allowed to bear arms. Several versions also exist, including an assault variant (Series 3A). The Series 2 "Morning Glow" was also widely mass produced, and despite being several decades old there are still quite a few around.

  • LFA Series 3 "Shining Dawn" Pulse Rifle
    Represented by: Pulse Rifle.
The most common rifle amongst the Falari, the Shining Dawn rifle is also the standard weapon amongst their military. Several versions exist, including a sniper variant (Series 3S) and an assault variant (Series 3A).

Weapons of the Gankri

The characteristic that the Gankri are infamous for is their immense capacity to reproduce. As such, militaristically they tend to rely on quantity rather than quality to win on the battlefield. This principle follows towards their weapon design philosophy, where ease of production and less logistical hang-ups for items like ammunition are more important that other qualities. As a result, Gankri weapons have the benefit of being relatively inexpensive, but are also poorly made.

Weapons of the Hekayti

Due to the size of the Hekayti, their weapons tend to be too large, heavy, and cumbersome for use amongst humans, except for some of the largest members of that species. Despite their larger size, Hekayti weapons tend to be of the same caliber or energy output as other standardized weapons rather than scaling up power to match the size. This strategy has largely worked to the advantage of the Hekayti, as their weapons tend to have larger ammunition capacities as well as less recoil. On several occasions, this has proven a strategic advantage leading the Ledelkrig to victory when defeat seemed near.

The Urtigor, a respected Hekayti clan predominantly involved with the Toveil, is well known amongst the Hekayti for the quality and reliability of their weapons, armor, and combat vehicles.

Medlidikke Weapons

  • Medlidikke Plasma Rifle

The Medlidikke plasma rifle is one of the most feared weapons in the galaxy, terrorizing many due to its common use in piracy. These weapons follow no standardized design, though some Medlidikke bands may have an weaponsmith creating them along similar lines. They are also often looted and modified from other races, or from battles against the Ledelkrig. Spikes, blades, bones, and other means of intimidation are commonplace additions unique to various owners.

Weapons of the Llivori

The evolution of modern Llivori weaponry involves a synergy of their physical strength and their preferred enemies, the Opodians. Much like the Llivori, the Opodians are quite strong and resilient. As a result, Llivori weapons tend to put a greater emphasis on stopping power rather than clip size, recoil, or rate of fire. They also tend to like loud and intimidating weapons, so rocket-based weaponry are a favorite. THey are also quite fond of plasma-based weaponry, but they tend to be rare and more expensive amongst this race.

Weapons of the Lotorians

There are few Lotorian clans that have much in the way of expertise in making weapons, as Lotorians prefer to run than actively embrace conflict. However, even the most cunning Lotorian is occasionally cornered, so it's not uncommon for them to have a few tricks up their sleeves just in case. The few weapons that Lotorians make have a reputation for being shoddy and unpowered, with an emphasis on spitting out bullets or energy beams regardless of accuracy. While this reputation may perhaps be a little unfair, the diminutive stature of Lotorians, along with their love of rapid firing weapons, necessitates that a smaller caliber or lower power output is used. Additionally, the high rate of fire and lots of working parts means that jams are common, as well. Nevertheless, wildly fired Lotorian weapons have bought enough time for many an escape. Due to the fact that Lotorians are often on spacecraft, they tend to use frangible ammunition or pulse weaponry. While this means that heavily armored foes can often shrug aside their firepower, such heavy armor is usually slow enough to allow for escape.

A submachinegun or machine pistol by human standards, the Lotorian Deathspitter works more as a small assault rifle for Lotorians. One of their most common weapons, it is beloved by Lotorians living in larger stations expecting the worst. However, those Medlidikke successful enough to be able to afford heavy armor have been known to refer to it as the "Tickler."

Weapons of the Opodians

The Opodians are not well-known for innovation when it comes to weaponry. In fact, most of their companies simply reverse engineering Llivori weapons and then mass-produce knock-offs. Aukami imports, considered closer to Opodi because of Kamiroid legacy of the Aukami, are also very popular.

Weapons of the Pyracani

See Weapons of the Pyracan Military for a more detailed list.

  • Manufacturers of Pyracani Weapons
    • Lonely Feather Exports
Lonely Feather Exports is a division of the Falari company, Lonely Feather Armaments. The relationship between the Falari and the Pyracani is quite close, so many of the more advanced weapons of the Pyracani are imported from Lonely Feather. Lonely Feather Exports specializes in pulse weapons, and rumor has it that a shock rifle may be unveiled soon.
    • Longtooth Artisans Collective
The Longtooth Artisans Collective is an attempt to modernize the Pyricani's weapons manufacturing while maintaining the cultural tradition of personalization and artisanship. They aspire to make weapons that use standardized parts, but still have a lot of individual flourishes to make each weapon unique.e for Pyracani space marines.

  • Longtooth 12mm Slug Rifle
    Represented by: Slug Rifle.
The Longtooth 12mm slug rifle has, over the past decade, become the most common weapon found amongst the Pyracani. While each rifle is a unique creation, it also uses standardized parts which makes repairs much simpler. The most common version is the hunting rifle, which comes optional with a scope. The Pyracani military has three modified versions: assault, battle, and sniper. The assault version increases the rate of fire significantly. The battle version increases the rate of fire somewhat while making the weapon more solid and integrating a bayonet. The sniper version comes with advanced optics, optional silencer/suppressor, and the option to use a slightly more powerful bullet. The most popular version is presently the battle rifle, although their military is attempting to encourage the use of the assault variant. Although the design is rather simple, it is very reliable and has surprised more technologically advanced foes more than once.

Weapons of the Thul

The enigmatic Thul are not known for direct confrontation, and their weapons of choice remain a mystery to the galaxy at large.
