Vessa is sitting on the couch with her lap as Maina's pillow, "Better way to go? You might as well ask, besides work would be helpful for her too."
Xanya Arives at the house and knocks on the door. "Anyone home?" She asks her voice a bit louder then normal in the hope it will be heard by who ever is inside.
Maina speaks up, not moving from Vessa, "Come in! It should be unlocked!"
Vessa looks over from the couch with a blink, "That was fast," she grins down at Maina, "Make a good pillow do I?"
Xanya opens the door carefully and peeks around it with her head to see if it's safe to enter.
Maina waves a bit to Xanya, "Come on in!" She grins up to Vessa, "Totally, mhmm."
Vessa waves to Xanya as well and grins, "Heya Xan, hows ya today?" she chuckles down at Maina, "Hidden talent I didn't even know I had."
Xanya enters further and looks around to see as much of the inside of the house as she can from here. "wow, nice place. Who's is it?" Xanya asks.
Maina smiles to Xanya, "Mine! How're you doing, anyway?" She grins up at Vessa again.
Vessa nods at Maina's words, "You going to stand in the doorway all day Xan?" she grins and waves her over, "Easier to talk from over here."
Xanya smiles. "Right, sorry." She sais as she gets further into the house and picks a spot to sit down, near her friends.
Maina smiles over at Xanya, "So... dunno if you've heard, but I'm going to start a company." She's still laying on Vessa's lap.
Vessa settles back into the couch and closes her eyes to listen, nodding at Maina's words.
Xanya gets comfertible in the chair she sits. "Oooke." She sais ready listen to the rest.
Maina looks to Xanya, "Is that something you'd be interested in? Joining Vessa and I in the company? You could design ships for us. If you can build them, too, that'd be great."
Vessa doesn't add anything to this and just lets the two talk.
Xanya sits back and looks up. "Join you two,... in a company,... Designing,... And building,... Ships." She sais repeating Maina's words. Her face clearly thinking. "It will depend on OOOONNNE Thing." Xanya replies. She leaves time for her friends to says something, but a twinkle can be seen in her eyes.
Maina tilts her head at Xanya, "Mm? What's the one thing, then?" She smiles still.
Vessa looks interested with a quirked eyebrow, "One thing?"
Xanya Nods. "When can I start?!" She sais and gets big smile.
Maina giggles at that, "Yay! Um, you can start right away if you want! We'll need a ship big enough to carry people and equipment to the new planet once I find one."
Vessa smiles, "Welcome to the group then. Oh and this doesn't mean you can't take jobs with other groups as well but anything about ours must stay a secret and the loyalty must be with ours first. Is that okay with you Xan?" She smiles wider, "We can expand the Selene or if you wanted to expand the Crow we can do that instead or we can build a new flagship if you want. We have many options."
Maina nods up to Vessa, "Right... you can do stuff for others, I'd just want this to come first. I think a new flagship might be cool?" She looks to Xanya, "Would that be expensive?"
Xanya takes out her PDA and does some things on it. "It will depend on what size you girls have in mind. I currently got a small hull prototype basicly ready to be build it only needs the materials. I can easely expand on that idea and make a medium Hull prototype which could fit small ships like shuttles inside of it. But probably no more then 2 or 3 depending on our needs." She goes trough some more files on her PDA. "Now The other option is a large hull prototype. but that would require wairehouses filled with materials. Probably not an option." She looks trough some more files on her PDA.
Maina ponders a little, "Well, if you can design a large and tell me what materials it'd need, I can see if I can gather them together? Maybe Tei and I can work together... I know Vicky can probably help with materials, too."
Vessa settles in to listen, this being outside her realm of expertise and smiles as things seem to come together.
Xanya nods as she looks things up on her pda. "sure. A large ship I can design. I have already designed a small ship which I have started to call the 'Lady-Class Shuttle'. The large ship would become a larger version of it and be named 'Princess-class Luxery liner'." She looks up from her PDA. "but we can chance the name if you think an other one is better." She looks at her PDA again and starts typing somehting on it. "Memo to self. Design.... large... ship.... protype." She sais repeating what she types.
Maina smiles a bit, "That's a pretty name. And we can put the shuttles on the big one, right?"
Vessa chuckles softly, "We are going to be traveling in style it sounds like. With something that size we could fit a colony on there as we look for the planet." she laugh softly, "Hell we could probably grow food in hydroponics and haul whatever we liked. I do like the name as well."
Xanya looks up a bit shocked. "oh wait you said large ship, not medium." She changes a few things on her pda. "The Princess-class luxery liner I had in mind for the medium size ships. The large one would be called a Queen-class...." She thinks a bit. "...Something. sorry don't have a name yet as I didn't think I'd be designing on this soon."
Maina smiles at Xanya, "Well, design it and if it's good, I'll pay you for that much... and tell me the materials it needs then, and we can see if the large or medium is better... but I think probably large. Queen-class sounds nice!"
Vessa nods looking impressed, "This is coming together nicely, I would love to see your design as you make it Xan, I like the sound of that too."
Xanya starts to work trough files rapidly now. "For a large ship hull we would need a warehouse filled with Aluminum, one filled with titanium, one with Steel and one with Polydenum. and thats just for the hull itself." She goes trough some more files. "It would also need materials for the engines, FTL, Thrusters, Sensors and Shield. not to mention stuff for rooms. I think I can get the best engines ftl and so forth on it, BUt i will need ot start improving the designs I currently have. A ship that size will need all the push and protection and such it can get." Xanya stops working trough the files. and writes something down. "one room for the engines and other drives, one for the cockpit deck thingy, on for the dockingbay and probably the airlock too. wich makes 4 rooms. and means we might have toom for 12 other rooms. like a medicalbay, messhall, crew quarters, officers rooms, and so forth. oh and storage for."
Maina nods a little to Xanya, "You just tell me what you need once it's designed, alright?" She smiles, bringing a hand up to Vessa's knee.
Vessa blinks at the hand but just says, "I am thinking of inviting Megumi too, I know she was looking for something to do."
Maina smiles and nods, "Oh! I like her. I bet she could help. It's almost like a real company already."
Xanya stops working on her pda and blushes a bit. "I'm doing it again am I. rateling on that is?" She giggles a bit and then takes a deep breath. "well if you think of any room or facility that needs to be in the ship just let me know and I will see about including it. I can give you an idea of the exterior look of the ship based on the small ship design I have already made."
Vessa nods with a grin, "I like her too, and she is very helpful in a pinch." she chuckles at Xanya, "Rattle away, I for one am very curious about your design. I think we both are actually." She says cautiously, "What about Heidi?"
Maina nods up to Vessa, "Yeah, it's fine if you go on about it, I don't mind." She frowns a little, "... maybe Heidi. I don't know, I'm still thinking about breaking up, and asking her to work for me after that..."
Xanya listens to teh convertation between Vessa and maina and gets a questiongly look. but she shakes her head and looks at her pda. "alright then, here is the design I got for the small ship, the lady-class shuttle." She shows an image of the ship on her PDA. (The ship measures 98,4 feet(30 meters) in length and 49,2 feet(15 meters) in width on the outsides of it and 32,8 feet(10 meters) in width at the center giving it a curvy hourglass shape. The height of the ship is about 16 feet(5 Meters). One side of the ship is aerodynamically shaped and has two sphere's on top, each about 9,8 feet(3 meters) in diameter. On the other side, the ships hourglass shape goes over into two cylinder shapes. Each cylinder has one big engine in it and several smaller engines surrounding the big one. The airlock is located at the center of the ship.)
Maina goes wide-eyed at that, "... uuuh... I-... um." She glances up at Vessa, then back to Xanya, "Maybe, um... our ship could be a bit less suggestive?"
Vessa nods slowly and smiles, "I understand, I just thought I would suggest her." she blinks at the design and then chuckles at Maina's words, but looks closer, "Looks fast."
Xanya looks to maina. "it's the sphere's right. There to much aren't they?" She then looks to Vessa. "You realy think so? thanks. I could always go for a different design for the large ship. But that might not be to everybodies liking either. But it would be less .. suggestive."
Maina sits up and smiles, "It's pretty cool and creative, just not great for what the organization is about. A leisure ship would be great like that, yeah?" She stands up, "I need to go check for deliveries and work on the garden, but you two feel free to stay as long as you like."
Vessa nods to Maina, "I need to get some work done myself to contact more new potential people then come back."
Xanya stands up herself. "I'll go out too and work on some designs for the large ship."
'Later that day Xanya returns to the small white house.'
Vessa is sitting on the couch again with Maina and smiles a bit sadly, "Yes, I know but I don't want to make assumptions Mai. It is yours but I would be happy to help in it. I figure I will be over quite often now to work on this Org."
Maina nods a bit to Vessa with a smile, leaning against her. "Like I said, you can come over as often as you like, okay?"
Xanya knock on the door again. "girls you home already?" She sais sounding excited.
Vessa leans back with a smile, "Thanks, I will take you up on that." She calls out, "We are back Xan, I think the door is still open."
Maina nods, calling out, "Come on in!" She slips an arm around Vessa's waist.
Xanya opens the door and walks in with a slightly faster walk speed then normal. "Alright, I have been doing some research and I think I got a pretty acurate list of what I would need to be able to make a large ship." Xanya says sounding excited and talking slightly faster then she normaly does.
Vessa looks surprised at the arm but doesn't move away, "Oh yeah? Come on over and let us know."
Maina nods a bit, "Come on in! What do you need?"
Xanya sits down on the closest seat oposite maina and vessa. She lays down her pda facing the girls. on her pda a list can be seen. 1 Civspec Ship Schematics, 1 Electronics Guidebook, 1x Warehouse of Aluminum, 1x Warehouse of Titanium, 1x Warehouse of Steel, 1x Warehouse of Polydenum, 9x Large Aluminum Stockpile, 5x Large Synthetic Stockpile, 5x Large Silicon Stockpile, 8x Large Steel Stockpile, 4x Large Polydenum Stockpile, 16x Blank Disc, 18x Tier 1 Miracle Worker, 1x Tier 1 Nerdrage. Vessa nods as she listens, "That sounds like a lot. Will it be hard to get all of that?"
Maina ponders a bit, "I'm sure between me, Vicky, Xanya, and maybe Tei, we could manage all that... what about credits?"
Xanya just those 4 poeple? what about vessa? or should I count you two as on." Xanya says with a wink. "anyway. I'm not sure what the amount of credits are for buying those materials. I just know what I need to be able to build the ship and it's content." Xanya scrolls down the list and shows an credits amount. (equal to about 610 Saga points.)
Vessa laughs softly trying to hide a wince, "Ah Xanya, I don't know the first thing about getting materials. I would be useless in that."
Maina squeezes Vessa's waist, "Yeah, she's a co-founder, but I don't think she can help gather materials. I know some harvesting techniques that should help so we don't have to buy them."
Xanya nods smiling. "That would be great Maina. So it would be 4 or 5 people, meaning I would have to make 3 to 4 officers rooms. Assuming you two are going to share a room?"
Vessa flinches at that and giving Maina a small smile she gets up, "Excuse me, I think I am going to steal your kitchen for a moment." she moves quickly to get up and over to the kitchen to see if there is coffee, keeping her face from the other two.'
Maina frowns a little as she watches Vessa go. She sighs, glancing to Xanya, "We aren't together at the moment... probably plan on two officer rooms? We can add more if we can't think of what to do with the rest of the rooms."
Xanya Sighs a bit. "oke. sorry about. One officer room for each."
Vessa finds some coffee and the machine and starts making a pot leaving the two to talk on the couch.
Maina glances back to Xanya, giving a little nod, "Right... so two officer rooms and two general sleeping quarters maybe for now? The general quarters can be one for boys and one for girls."
Xanya Thinks a bit. "Only two officer rooms? I though of 4 or 5. one for each of us? You, Vessa, Me, Vicky and Meaby Tei? But meaby your right and we should go with less." She takes her PDA and writes it down.
Vessa calls over from the kitchen though doesn't look over, "Vicky and Tei are not part of the org. They are friends who have their own work but who might help."
Maina nods a little, "What Vessa said. I really don't know how many people will be joining, so I can't really promise a private room for everyone, you know? I was thinking a room for captain and a room for first mate or something. We can't do one for everybody."
Xanya Nods. "You might be right. lets see. A machine room, Docking bay, Airlock, 2 officer rooms, Cockpit deck or whatever it's called on big ships. Medical room, messhall, 2 crewquaters, Storage room, and about 3 hallways depending on the amount of floors the ship will end up having. that will put us on... 14 rooms. I can fit in 2 more rooms.
Vessa finally returns with two cups of coffee, one handed to Xanya, "Will you have multiple decks? You will need a way to get between decks
Maina nods a little, "Hmm... recreation room, and... cargo hold? But yes, we'll need a way to swap decks..."
Xanya nods. "recreation room, good one girls, and cargo hold is a much better word then storage room. and to swap decks meaby one of those levimodules like on comorrow?"
Vessa nods as she settles back on the couch, cup in hand. "Right and yeah I like the recreation idea too."
Maina leans back against Vessa again, giving a nod, "That works, sure. Levimodule."
Xanya takes a drink from the coffee she got from vessa. "That would fill the ship up I think. 16 rooms from my count. I'm glad to have you girls here or it would have been one boring and exousting trip on that ship without recreation room and a levimodule.
Vessa looks over at Maina, "Would you mind if I invite Meg over to give the invite? Seems your house has become the hub of activity and the current HQ." she chuckles.
Maina giggles softly at Xanya, then nods to Vessa, "Sure thing. Invite her."
Xanya Writes things down on her PDA. "I probably need to go myself. to work on the design. am.... the design I showed you earlier but then without teh spheres on top. would that work? or would you prefere for something more along the lines of a .... castle?
Vessa Is sitting on the couch next to Maina and across from Xanya, Both Xanya and Vessa have coffee cups, "Castle? Spires? I thought we were talking about ships," she trails off looking confused.
There's a knock at the door.
Maina blinks over at Xanya, "Um... it doesn't really need to be that fancy. Practicality kind of matters more. Maybe more aerodynamic, though I doubt a ship that size will be entering atmosphere... who knows." She blinks at the knock, then smiles, "Come in! It should be unlocked!"
Xanya Nods to Maina. "I think I can work something out with that. I just got some ships idea's in my mind based on some movies I saw back home."
Vessa looks over to the door as she takes another sip and grins, "I do think this is a comfortable house, nice couch too."
Megumi opens the door and steps in, smiling lightly as she looks between the other ladies. "Hi," the grayscale riftwalker greets lightly, "How is everyone?"
Maina gives a finger-wiggle-wave to Megumi, leaning against Vessa, "Hello! Welcome to my home! I'm doing okay, you?"
Xanya waves to Megumi. "hi there." She sais as she puts her PDA away in her pockets.
Vessa smiles widely at Megumi, "Hello, I am really glad you found it. Come join us. I have a proposal for you if you are interested, I remember you had said you didn't have a lot to do and if you are still wanting something to do we might be able to help."
"Doing great, Maina, thanks. I'm always interested in something to do. Having Katsuo back home is wonderful but there's only so much time I can hang around the poor guy before I come off as clingy," Megumi muses as she slips further into the room and claims the free chair, "What did you have in mind, Vessa?"
Maina smiles a bit more over to Megumi, "Vessa and I are starting an organization... the overarching plan is colonization, but that'll also cover transport and mining and just about everything that goes with starting colonies... hoping to be on the more peaceful end of things than most people who do such things. It's a bit of a big venture, so we can use all the good people we can find."
Xanya Stretches herself and yawns a bit. "I think I will go find a place to sleep." Xanya stands up and gets ready to leave.
Vessa smiles at Xanya, "Take care of yourself Xan, see you tomorrow?" she nods at Maina's words, "We would love to have you join us and help us build this place and make it great."
"Good night, Xanya," Megumi wishes, "Sweet dreams." She considers the other two weapon for a moment then and nods slowly. "Not sure I can relate to the 'peaceful' part of that, to be perfectly honest," she remarks, "I'm not entirely what most would consider 'good people'." She flexes her leathery wing.
Maina shrugs towards Megumi, "Neither am I, these days." She waves to Xanya, too. "But this isn't a mercenary group or an army, yet, so my goal isn't to throw you guys into deadly situations. That said, if violence is what you want, I'm sure security is necessary, too... I'm so naive that I think otherwise."
Xanya waves to the girls as she walks out the door. "bey bye girls." She sais as she gets out of the house.
