Founded by veteran air rally champion Sonja Zeller after her retirement in 2637, ZIH has become a moving force in the freight hauling industry. Originally, it focused on global deliveries with transit routes to Luna and Mars. But the company's profits were such that she was able to expand to full-fledged FTL transport throughout the Stellar Consortium and (occasionally) the Fringe.
The corporate office lobby is a modest affair with several cushioned chairs, a reception desk, and a floor-to-ceiling image of the company's upright brown squirrel mascot.
