Who He Is
Akamatsu is a 14th century Ronin who was transported forward through time into Hiverspace. He's currently a Marine in the Confederacy Fleet.

Quintessential Description
This human male is about 5'10 in height. He also has a Japanese ethnicity about him. He looks as if he is 200 pounds or so. He is very muscular in most areas of his body. His face looks quite weathered. His hair is black with a hint of gray at the top. His eye color is brown.
He wears a red overcoat. Under that, he wears what appears to be a black armored shirt. He also wears dull gray pants. He carries on his belt a wakizashi. Also on the other side of his belt is a katana. Also on his belt he carries a jug. On his back he carries a 1350's era hand cannon.

Biography
Akamatsu is 30 years of age. He was born in 1330 in Fukuoka Japan. His training as a samurai began at the age of 15. He faithfully went through his training and within 3 years finished. He then served his new master for 7 years after. Unfortunately he lost a battle and because he wouldn't commit hara-kiri was shunned as a ronin. He then became a wanderer as most ronins do looking for food and work where he could find it. He still practiced with his blades in case of danger if he needed them or in case he needed to hunt he would use the hand cannon. In his training he was taught to speak Japanese very fluently (more so than most Japanese at the time). After a period of wandering he was swallowed by a rift and ended up on Commoro station.
Values
He rejected the idea of ritual suicide and thus remained against suicide. Aside from the hara-kiri part of the code of bushido he tries to follow it as best he can. He is a Buddhist as was appropriate for the time. He very greatly values his ability with swordplay (which is why he works hard and often with this skill).
Goals
His main goal while he is in this universe is to find a new master so in his mind he has his honor restored. His secondary goals include discovering what this new universe has to hold and get his sense of honor restored any way he can.
