A long time ago, we tried building a MUD within a MUSH framework called Necromundus. A wide variety of characters were possible, and could explore four different realms, completing quests and battling mobs (including some rather challenging bosses).
But the game never quite fit in its MUSH skin. It always deserved to be closer to its MUD-like roots.
So, we’re starting to put together a new iteration using CoffeeMUD as the base. This is totally a hobby project, but expect to see updates about development news as it becomes available. Before too long, I’m hoping players can return to the afterlife.
