Overview
A bizarre creature to say the least, Anshera is one of the few who were torn from the Land of the Dead, Necromundus, and returned to life upon being deposited in Hiverspace.
She appears, most often, to be the depiction of an elf from human fiction, taking to both the form of an adult and that of a child. Her ability to shapeshift is well known, and her aptitude for imitating the behavioral mannerisms of animals can make it extremely difficult to spot her unless one has known her for quite some time.
Her ego and boasts of being a 'creature' far superior to any 'mortal' are near infamous, as is the flare of her temper, though at most times she appears to be quite calm and calculating. One other trait tends to be taken marked note of, and that is the polymorph's notable enjoyment of causing anguish to others, both physical and mental. It not an unknown event for the shapeshifter to attack a random target out of the blue.
Some who have observed the polymorph may speculate that she's unhappy in this mortal life and longs to return to the realm of Necromundus. Her ability to allow death to encroach however, seems to be overwhelmed by a programmed fail-safe that prevents her from ending her life purposefully.
In most recent times a pregnancy quelled the most of Anshera's bad habits by forcing her into a weakened position, however that pregnancy has since been terminated by an unfortunate encounter upon Comorro whereby she was stabbed in the stomach. This led to her disappearance after a stay in the Svajone's medical facilities.
Rumours of her whereabouts are few and far between in comparison to the rumours of her death which more often than not are met with hopeful joy as opposed to any semblance of grief. However, most prevalent in current days is the rumour that the polymorph is sometimes seen upon Eiru, though these sightings have been noted to be brief and fleeting.

(Note: This is exactly what it sounds like. I encourage others to put their characters impressions of mine down in order to allow a more dynamic and less one sided view of 'Shera's personality good and bad. Just don't forget to make clear which character's perspective it's coming from!)
Shinigami: "People can say what they wish, I do not see why their opinions are so important. But in reference to Anshera, she is much more than many think. Does she have...problems? Of course, show one who does not. There is much we can learn from her and she from us. It need only require that patience to sit and learn. That part, I think, will take time. But I think I am in the minority when I say that deep down, there is a good person within her. I have seen it."
Vadim on Anshera: "Who? Oh, that thing. Da, I know her. Look, yer best bet is jest avoidin' her altogether if ya can. Tried hoopin up New Resilience's spaceport once. Had to have three guards arrest her. She's a little fireball, don't underestimate that one. An strange...like Kamir strange. Somthin' ain't right 'bout her. Though if yer smart, you'll put a bolt between her eyes an call it a day."
Franceza on Anshera: "Absolutely clueless how a more or less decent kind of woman like Naoi could've given birth to such a disgusting little brat. Strike that, fuckin' freak. What with the spikes sticking out and the teeth and the nails and the tantrums and don't even get me started on the bear..."
Dement on Anshera: "Here is a little girl who has on occasion followed me around only to torment me. I have heard it used, the term 'bothersome brat', and frankly it has never been placed on more settled shoulders. The trouble with that phrase is how insignificantly it describes her. In truth, there is something off with her, both physically and mentally, which scares me more than any clear threat I have encountered in my life. It is not only that I do not like children, which is a point I have observed, but something about her suggests she is more capable of serious malevolence than I am of understanding it."
Varal on Anshera: "Presumptuous bitch best avoided. I'd have killed her at least twice already were it not for the rules of that stupid space monster."
Victoria on Anshera: "Certainly an elegant woman... Cares not for social norms, which I tend to like. A bit arrogant, I think, or patronizing. Mildly frightening. Beautiful body."
Alastair on Anshera: This subject professes to be an artificial life-form created by magic fifteen thousand years ago in another dimension and reincarnated here. While this claim is fantastic, it cannot be dismissed out of hand - psionic phenomena and interdimensional travel, as well as extraordinary longevity, have all been documented in exhaustive scientific detail. I will therefore restrain myself to my own areas of expertise and observe that she shows signs of maladaptive socialization, very similar to the characteristics of psychological phenotype hyper-specialization syndrome which afflicted many people in the barbaric early days of cloning technology. While both my professional and personal ethics decry the deliberate crippling of an organism for such narrow purpose, I must admit that I would leap at the chance to speak with her creator. I imagine we could learn much from one another, and it would be a fascinating glimpse into ancient genetic engineering.
