Hiverspace

Hiverspace is an entirely separate dimension from the dimension where Earth is located, Normalspace. It was the site of a long and bloody war between the Kamir and the Hivers right up until 2650. Currently, the Hekayti are the dominant species, though the Zar Supremacy seeks to change this.

Areas in Hiverspace

Territorial

  • Ancient Expanse- A large section of the galaxy that has been explored by the denizens of this universe and the primary stomping ground for players.

FTL Corridors

  • Daucon Corridor- A galactic northwest to southeast corridor of low star density between the Rigor Strand and the Plosa Nebula, making for uncomplicated travel between Hekayti territory and Ulsha or Shard. Named for the Muscipulan explorer of the same name who discovered the pass in 1352 CE.

Asteroid Fields

  • Blue Sands - An asteroid field of tiny blue particulate right on the edge of where the Daucon Corridor meets the Rigor Strand, it was the site of a bloody battle in the Hiver War.

Nebulae

  • Cristata Nebula : A vaguely starburst-shaped purple nebula between the galactic southwest corner of Hekayti territory and the galactic northern edge of Orion Confederacy territory.
  • Plosa Nebula : Nestled between the Cyon, Shard and Otix systems, this pink and plum nebula has been a key strategic holding throughout the Hiver War, as it helps to separate Hekayti and Thul territory, and is able to hide a large number of forces from enemy sensors. The Plosa Nebula is partially fringed by asteroid fields, some with only a narrow gap here and there, making these parts excellent for hiding from large ships.
  • Rigor Strand : Created by the chain reaction of at least two dozen star systems going nova in a jagged line going galactic west-northwest to galactic east-southeast, it is a truly massive combination of nebula and asteroid field, making for extremely difficult travel, and often quite valuable (and untapped) mineral wealth within. It has been a site for many military conflicts over the years, and quite a bit of criminal activity. It shimmers a red-gold hue.
    • Lakri Svardok: A Hekayti penal asteroid located within the Rigor Strand on the edge of Hekayti space.

Juval Cluster

A mass of stars on the galactic eastern edge of Hekayti territory.

  • Kapyit Prime: Kapyit is the solitary planet orbiting around the star Sartjerne and is a sunbaked planet that is too hot to be habitable by a normal population. Mined for minerals around it's upper and lower hemispheres and littered with solar farms around it's equator, it is almost entirely industrial.
